Chicken Pop & friends

When I asked my friend’s almost 4 year old if he wanted to name the seagull that wakes me at 4:15 every morning, I didn’t expect Chicken Pop. Bruce or Basil maybe, but definitely not Chicken Pop. Apparently I’m lucky, it could easily have been Chicken Poop…its a 3-4 year old thing.

Ps. I moved to Ramsgate in July after falling in love with the sandy beaches of the Isle of Thanet while on a photography day trip to Margate. (Come to think of it, a seagull pooped on my camera that day.) Chicken Pop still pretends he is a rooster, but his morning squawking no longer wakes me.
