Lockdown 2.0 Day 27

RECYCLING DAY…

Walking to the studio this morning, on the last day of Lockdown 2.0, I stumbled across pumpkins perched on a street corner amongst the recycling. I can’t help but wonder if The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Council have agreed a special arrangement for the collection of unwanted Halloween and/or Thanksgiving pumpkins. Because surely no one will purposefully let food go to waste when there are so many going hungry? Or was it is meant as a gift for those walking past or doing the recycling collections?
